Default DRL module bad? Let me know what you think!

I have a DRL issue with my 99 T/A. No turn front signals or drls. Checked for 12v power at the sockets. Power is at the socket ONLY with the headlights up and on. Turn headlights off, no power to the sockets. Could this be a drl module issue? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to test at the wires. Its not unheard of for both sockets to go bad at the same time.

Not the sockets, they are getting power when the headlights are on.

There are two filaments in each bulb. One for the marker/parking lights and a second for the turn signal and DRL circuit. If you test for power when the lights go on, you are not testing anything related to the DRL circuit itself. The other contact should deliver the turn signal and/or DRL signal.
