Gen 5 Camaro Suspension Tech - 2010 Camaro SS on HRE 565R wheels

The new wheels for our other PlanetLSX.com project Camaro showed up today. Camaro is lowered with KW coil-overs

HRE "565R" wheels, 3-piece forged construction, hidden hardware
New brushed with smoked clearcoat finish from HRE, chrome lips, billet centercap
20x9.5 fronts with Nitto 275 wide INVO tires
20x11.0 rears with Nitto 315 wide INVO tires

It isn't my car. I have 22" iForged wheels on my gray car.

Yeah, those wheels look awesome off the car.
It seems the 2010s need 5 spokes where the spokes are wider to look better on the car???

I guess I like plain cuz I think it looks perfect, minus the stripes. Maybe if the wheels were black it'd tie in better

Stripes are gray so they actually match pretty well. Stripes are coming off maybe today however. Going back to orange stripes.

Problem with finding a fat spoke for these cars is in a 20" it has lots of room to taper out (get thin). I dont think they look nearly as thin in person. I'm happy with the look :)

As for sizes they're 20x9.5 and 20x11. 275/40 and 315/35 Nitto Invo. Total rotating mass lost is 10lbs (2/ea front, 3/ea rear I believe). Not bad considering upsized both front and rear wheels/tires and still lost weight.

Stance is due to KW V3 coilovers. Need aftermarket sways but it does ok for now.

The gray stripes are now gone. Going in for paint tomorrow probably.

I think they look great. It's interesting to see all of the different tastes people have. If we all liked the same thing, we'd all HAVE the same thing, and that would suck! Nice. :)

hmm, im undecided. like 'em in the sun, not so much in the shade. i do however love the stance. you run the invos on the Z06, correct? assuming its a pretty damn good tire then?

Wheels look better off the car, IMO but I bet it would look much better in person. Those are great shots of the car and the ride height/stance is absolutely perfect! What springs/suspension has done this good thing?

Yea as said car has KW V3's on it. Not cheap but MUCH better than just the coils that were on it. I was happy with the H&R...Then got coilovers. Nothing wrong with just springs, but IMO it was a HUGE upgrade from that (springs already being a big upgrade over stock).

I think those wheels would look awesome on a darker colored car.

I think it looks sweet . Its simplicity and the fact its not chrome plated is refreshing .
