Need some opinions on cam selection for my ls1
I have a 2002 ls1 that is going in my 75 vette, I will be running the victor jr manifold with a 750 mighty demon carb, stock bottom end, long tube headers, 3200 stall, TH-400 trans, 3.73 gears. The car is a street/strip car but I am looking for the most power possible with decent drivability. I plan on changing heads after a few months when they are in my budget so for now I will be using stock heads. I am looking at 3 cams and need some advice on which is the best choice, the T-Rex, the RapTR, and the Magic Stick 4. Please let me know what you all think?

^^ agreed. You are looking at cams that are probably designed for ls1 style intakes (ls1, ls6, fast, etc). Find one with a tight LSA.... like 110 for a single plane. Keep your duration down. The victor jr is a rev happy intake. If you run a 24x/24x cam, you are going to be be peaking over well over 7000 rpm and shifting at ~7500. Your stock bottom end won't last long there.
