Default Fuel cell or stock gas tank???

i got a barry grant fuelpump/filer/regulator with both 3/8 and 1/2 gas lines with a 16 gallon fuel cell with strapes and hardware. Is it too much for a stock 5.3 and i should just go with a regular gas tank, external fuel pump and corvette filter. Kinda hate the idea of the fuelcell taking up all the trunk of my chevelle. What would u do?

What is your goal ?.. HP ?.. usage (street, racing or street/strip, etc)... if you want the look of a fuel cell for show or need it for racing.. then use it. If not and your engine output is less than 500(?).. it might be overkill for a stock 5.3L or even a mild mod'd one... (but it kinda what we car people do. Because we can . LOL !)

You have a fairly long way to go with your build which means lots of money, both planned and not planned! If the budget is tight, use what you have.
