New Personal Best in my V. 12.2@124mph
Went out to firebird raceway in Phoenix AZ (1,243ft elevation) last night for a few shakedown runs. I now know that my stock clutch disc is hating life. Time for a new clutch for sure. I was fighting the clutch on the nitrous, and it was pissing me off and my clutch was stinking pretty badly. Anyway, I made one N/A pass, and missed 4th due to driver error. I pulled the shifter towards me, instead of straight down. Oh well. Here it is...
N/A pass
2.060ft
12.63@112mph (missing 4th gear, and shifting the 1-2 and 2-3 at 6500 rpms, yea, I forgot for that split second I had a new cam) Duh.
Best Nitrous pass (still 100 shot)....
2.260ft
12.20@124mph (having to shift like a grandma due to stock clutch acting like a POS, and trying to keep my all season 245/45/18 tires planted during shifts)
All in all, not too shabby. Shes got more in her. But I need a new clutch and DRs, and a cold air intake (since my stock airbox looks to be killing some hp) before I can head back. I'll post vids and time slip later today

****... with that trap speed on the nitrous... youre good for a low 11 and maybe a high 10 pass if you can cut a 1.5 60 ft without breaking anything...
I was running 11.90's in my 96 LT4 vette i had awhile back and only trapping at 118mph but my 60's were legit on drag radial and not having to worry about breaking the rear end...

Yea, my n/a shift points are at 6900 rpms. I was shifting at 6500 on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. I took the 3-4 shift up to 6900, but ended up missing 4th gear and running a 12.6@112 mph.

Thanks guys. I have more plans for this month. I plan go faster, so I will be building some custom stuff for my brakes to let me run 16" slicks in the rear.
Here is my slip and a burnout pic...

Idle is great. BUT, I also spent a few hours tuning the drivability side of the tune until I felt the car would have no problems with all around driving habits.
The cam doesnt have much under 3000 rpms, but the 3.73 gearing help with that. After 3,000 rpms, you better get ready to shift because the LS6 revs up super fast.
