I'll be going to the dealership for a pin out schematic for the 5th gens on Monday/Tuesday. I'm running one on my 4th gen & have 1 to hook up to my 5th gen.

I did a write up on camaro5.
It's in the how too section. I am not at my computer, I'm on my Droid. But if you go over there and search threads by ThunderSS you will see the Raptor install.(pin locations, and pictures) If I get back on here, and you still havnt found it I will find it and post it up. It will be late tonight before I can do that.

Yeah, I have read your erite-up and although a very nice article, my x1 at the pcm does not have the gray wire with blk stripe-doesnt even have a wire in the spot that your diagram shows. I called raptor today and they are sending me an amplifier. They said on this car , I will need to tap the coil wire with this amplifier??? Anyway Im gonna give it a try when it arrives. Nothing is ever easy

not trying to sound like an ***,
But where you looking at the grey one?
Just verifying..
I had the same problem at first and figured out I was looking at it wrong.
Wish you where closer to houston.. I would help you install it..
The Amplifier should help make it a bit easier..
when I had installed mine Raptor hadnt fixed that problem yet..

I was instructed to pull both the X1 and the X2 wire harness plugs off the PCM(located in the engine compartment). Instructions say look at the X1 plug ( black one ) and locate the (i think 71 pin??) gray wire with a black stripe and showed pictures of where this wire was exactly. My plug has a empty spot where they showed this wire and I only found solid gray wire in the harness no stripes? Is yours a A6 also? and where did you run your wire to?? Sounds like the amp deal is gonna be a pain also Thanks

This is what you should be looking at.. whether it's an L99 or LS3, they are both the same..

White wire goes to X1(Black Connector)/Pin 71, and the Green Wire goes to X2(Grey Connector)/ Pin 20.
I am waiting for raptor to send the Amplifier, and see what needs to be changed from there.
