Default Which factory wheels and what finish??

Well guys, Ive been looking around and im considering buying another set of stock wheels. The reason im staying with stock is because they are light and affordable compared to the 3 piece forged wheels i really want but they still look nice. I'll eventually buy a set of staggered CCW 19's when $$$ permits it but for now, im sticking with a factory set.

Anyway, which wheels do you guys think look best on the V? The stock solid spoke V wheels or the accessory wheels with the split spokes?

My car is black and i currently have the stock solid spoke wheels on it powdercoated black but because a couple of the wheels have a little rash, im planning to have them redone or just have the new set i buy coated and sell these. It looks great being black on black wheels but im debating on whether or not i want to keep the wheels black or trying something different just to see if i like anything else.

Options are chrome, black chrome, stock silver or powdercoat them gloss black again. And if im going to go through having the set coated whatever finish i prefer, I need to decide if i want to get another set of the solid spoke V wheels or if i should find a set of the accessory wheels to coat. Im also tempted to have the 2 rears sent off to be widened to 10" depending on what that would cost.

Which wheels do you guys think would look best?

My vote would be to go with the Black Team Dynamics 18"x8.5" wheels. They are super light, and look pretty badass. If you are going to spring for another set of wheels, you might as well try something else since you already have the stockers.

A vendor on the other forum is selling a set of 4 for $1060 (which, I believe, includes shipping). That is an awesome deal!

I saw those. They do look very nice! Has anyone tried them first hand? I was a little hesitant just because stock wheels are already 8.5" wide. If I was going to buy anything other than stock, I always swore it would be a set of staggered 19" ccw's.

And flat black looks great on silver but I'm not sure how good it would look on a black car. I've always though gloss matches better on black. Flat black looks nice on silver but looks unfinished on a gloss black car IMO.

I think I like the basic 18" stockers best of the factory wheels. Color wise, i think I'm between black chrome or gloss black unless anyone has any other ideas...

Thats true. I think wheel to wheel though, i prefer the solid spoke even though its considered the basic wheel and much more common.

Are the accessory wheels still made by speedline?

It also depends on price as well. Ive got a deal pending on a set of the stock V wheels at a pretty fair price. If I can find the same deal on a set of the accessory wheels, id be tempted to go that route but if im going to be spending a ton more just to get my hands on the accessory wheels, thats money i could be putting toward the CCW's i really want...

I think Black Chrome on a black V would look badass. I know it is not a V but I saw black chrome stock wheels on a black dodge ram and it was badass looking.

there is also these..18x9"

I was thinking black chrome would be pretty sweet. I wonder if they can control how dark the black chrome is. I think its just chrome with translucent black sprayed over it. Id like it to be darker than usual but still with that chrome shine.

And i like those wheels but id have to see them on a black V first to decide. They look a little too much like enkei's for my taste but they might look good once on the car!

If i was racing those might benefit me but its a daily driver and i much prefer the stockers over those after looking into them.
