Did you rip off the exciter wire off the starter? Check fuses and wiring etc.

If its not even turning over then the problem is most likely electrical. Does the radio and rest of the electrical in the car work? If so I would check the starter wires and any plugs into the transmission. Also of course check the fuses. Good luck!

Yeah i am guessing blown fuses for the starter, or starter wires ripped off, probably not the problem but is the clutch pedal touching the sensor so it will let it start, not sure if you changed out the master cylinder or not or did anything else under there. And i would definately check all other fuses to just in case.

yeah i checked all sensors for the clutch and everything is hitting fine. just to make sure we tryed to jump the clutch switch, still nothing. also i put a tester light and all fuses are fine. i get power to the posts of the starter. i also get power to the fire post when the key is turned all the way forward.
we have tripple checked all electrical connections and sensors. could my starter have gone bad just hanging there out of the way? i never had a starting issue with my car...until now.

Yea it could've gone bad just hanging..could have got a hair-line crack internally on one of the posts.

Try smackin it with a Hammer and see what it does.

Yea try a different Starter.

If you are gettin 12V at the end of the purple 12ga Wire then it's definately the Starter. If it's bolted to the block then no way you have a bad ground.

i guess from now on i'll remove the starter like i'm suppossed to instead of letting it hang for any starter that size or bigger.
