Default Hairline crack in radiator shroud....

Well I fixed my tailshaft issue only to notice a hairline crack in the plastic shroud on the passenger side of the radiator just below the radiator cap as I was going over the car. Can I just repair/replace this part or do I have to buy a new radiator? If it's not one thing it's another.

I would get a new Radiator..if that one side is crackin the other side will eventually.

Mine did the same thing..it cracked on that side and started to split as I was on my way home from work. I stopped at the store to get a new one, it was leaking Coolant bad. I made it home just intime for it to explode all over the driveway.

Not what I wanted to hear, but it never is. It's the name of the game I guess. I will look into a new radiator.

I got a new tank on that same side replaced for like $50.00 4 months ago. If you don;t want to spend the money for a new radiator, they hold fine if done right.

Repair is an option, as mentioned above.

I've had a few cars with plastic tanks and hairline cracks on them. Drove a couple for many 10s of thousands of miles without an issue. Not to say that it can't/won't leak, but it might not for a very long time.

I wouldn't put an urgent rush on it unless it's leaking, or unless you're planning a major road trip in the near future.
