ok so i need suggestion for making a ls1 last under sustained high rpms and lateral g's. I have been thinking baffled oil pan or possibly dry sump. also would it be best to stay stock cube and if so what kind of compression can be reliable and how will it benefit. car is a head cam bolt on car now. anything else that anyone can think of would be much appreciated!

for the bottom end, you will at the very least need some ARP or Katech rod bolts. If you can afford a dry sump go for it. A well thoughtout strong valvetrain will be key to make reliable power. With just these things an easy 7k redline can be reliable in an otherwise stock bottom end H/C LS1
