Stereo & Electronics - Backwards compatible?

Hoping somebody can give a definite yes/no on this?

Is a Monsoon/Delco CD HU from a 2000 Camaro simply plug and play in a '94 Camaro regardless of whether the '94 had a Bose or a Monsoon deck. From what I have read, I assume yes as it is simply a basic Delco deck in both cases.

Can somebody please confirm.

no its not simple plug in if the 94 is bose

plus its not gonna bolt up either
