Default Looking for help and opinion.

Just recently purchased an 02 WS6.

Great buy and I'm extremely happy with it. Car has is stock mainly.

Exhaust is a true dual set up, with gutted cats and single chamber flowmasters. The exhaust was either mounted wrong or something broke loose as it rattles from the road.

I was wondering if it would be way to loud or just sound bad if i were to cut the exhaust and remove everything from the cats back, and just dump it.

So it would be stock manifolds to gutted cats and dumped.

Too loud? Too bad?

Eventually will get a TSP set up as I live not two hours away.

I would say a little rattle would be much more bearable than open headers lol I would just crawl under the car and see what's rattling and tighten it up. No need for a whole new exhaust.

It technically wouldn't be open headers. It still has the stock manifold.
