I'm in the process of using a 2010 Camaro rear diff for a convertion, and I need to change the gear to it (ring & pinion). I still have not bought the diff.
What kind of rear diff is on this guys? 8.2", 8.5", 8.6" or what? And/or where can I find that information?

You only have 2 options right now.
Either a 3.73 gear, or a 4.10 gear.
Gonna run you about $600 for the set.
Don't remember the name of them, but you can find the info on Camaro5

Thanks for the answers guys!
So should I be ok with any 8.6"/8.5" ring and pinion?
Or the Camaro diff is like a special version of the 8.6"/8.5"?
This is the source where I was thinking about getting the parts:

you need 2010 camaro gears only,, it is not the same diff as any other gm production car.

Richmond gear is the only company that I know of right now that carries the 2010 Camaro gears.. at this moment

They are correct, the Camaro uses gears that are unique only to it's rear diff. We stock the Richmond gears for it and have plenty of 4.10 and 3.73 gears on the shelf for them so if you have any questions just let us know

Thanks guys for the good info. But the diff has to be 3.42. I'll check in the gears and axles forum to see what I can find. Maybe a CTS-V, STS-V, G8, GTO, etc diff may work.
Thanks.

maybe you didnt understand...
There aren't any other gears out there that will fit the 2010 Camaro..
It's either Richmond 2010 Camaro SPECIFIC gears or nothing..
CTS-V, STS-V, G8, GTO gears aren't going to work..
They have a totally different rear end than the Camaro.
the only options you have is to swap the stock gears out for Richmond 4:10, or 3:73 gears, or swap the IRS for a solid axle
If you went to a solid axle you would have alot of options then..

The 2010 Camaro 6M cars come with 3.45s in them already...
