where to find export tail lights
Had black out tail light covers and they melted both tail lights. I realy want the export tail lights. If they are a GM part why are they so hard to get. Does anyone no where to get them or a part number. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

GM no longer makes them, your best bet is to e-mail Diesel ( Dave ) at Diesel@hawaii.rr.com , he probably will see this post also. Good luck

Re: where to find export tail lights
us laws require a red reflector visible from the side of the car, many manufactures use wrap around taillights to get this reflector.
The Firebird does not, it has a side mounted reflector, im 99% sure the camaro does as well.
The Tri color is the reason for the camaro to have them first overseas. Its the law.
The tri-color and small supply is not just a GM thing, the mustang 94-98 bodystle export lights go for huge money as well. Where the new ones are easily found, because they're now stock on the 99-01 cobras. (but not 03s)
