Wires and Plugs?

Wires and Plugs? What kind of wires should I go with? I was thinking MSD? and On my last f body I had taylor wires with NGK iradium plugs. is that a good setup? or should I go with those plugs and MSD wires?

I am also trying to decide what wires to buy. I called Napa and they have a set of 8 MSD wires for $68. So do most people just use the GMPP wires? Are they better, or does it really matter?
