Default Ideal exhaust size?

SUp guys.
Internals on my car are stock as of now. Can't see upgrading in the near future. I picked up a set of the lsextreme headers and would like to do a dual exhaust.

I want to run an mannaflow x-pipe http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...2672A-1A1.aspx and run magnaflows bullets straight out the back.

I know you need to be less then 3 inches to go over the axle so I was wondering how I should do it. 3 inches all the way back then cutdown to 2.5 to clear the axle or should I just keep it 3 all the way and go under the axle. I don't really wanna scrape everthing.

you could just get a panhard bar relocation kit and run 3" all the way, or you could just reduce it to 2.5 before going over. I know you can get 2.5 over the stock panhard with some convincing, but 3" won't fit.

duals are a PITA. take it from one who knows.

if you are ever gonna do heads and cam i would highly suggest the flowmaster 4" merge to a ether a 3.5" or 4" mufflex cat back.

if you aren't gonna do heads and cam go with a 3.5" merge and a spintech 3" cat back.

OR you could do what everybody else does...
