I did all the tricks (slowing down easy, not sitting with my foot on the brakes when they are hot, etc) and still warped them. When they do, just replace them with a higher quality rotor and be done with it.

i'm loving my ATE rotors from Sam Strano, using them with some Duralast Gold ceramic pads.....the first time i replaced the rotors, i replaced them with the Auto Zone specials (stock replacements), and they already started warping again within the first 6 months of them being on the car.....and gradually got worse over the next year or so until i couldn't handle my teeth rattling anymore and bought the ATE rotors.
it's been over a year now since i put these rotors/pads on, and they're still not showing even the slightest hint of wanting to warp. well worth the money, IMO

I install my wheels and do tork them myself, when my SS was @ 10 k miles GM machined both front, at 13 k replaced both front, at 15 k replaced again, now at 76k and 10 years later never any problems still on OE ROTERS, have installed one set of OE pads over this time/miles
