Default I need your guys' assistance

Had to post this here, not getting too much responses in the other section:

Alright so I just came back from looking at a 2002 Camaro SS... I had sold my Z06 rims to this guy because he had a major curb rash and bent his wheels so I took a look at it and here is how it went...

The Bad:
it has 127k miles
he took it to his brothers shop and told him his diff was messed up
it has an SES code after the night he curb checked it
there is an inch gash on the SS spoiler and on the back bumper

The Good:
It has my old rims on it
it has T-tops
no leather (here in AZ its awesome)
he wants what he owes the bank which is $6,007.42

So with that being said, what do you guys think? should I make a push for it or you think ill find something better for around 6K?

I think for 6k you could find a lesser mile one. But thats just me. Curbing a car could be pretty bad depending on how it was. I mashed into a curb with mine when I first got it and it bent an axle screwed up the brakes on the passenger rear and did some frame damage. Cost about 1200 to fix it again. Just some food for thought.

What exactly are you looking for? Just an F-body. They sell pretty nice F-body here in AZ for a decent price.
Here is a 33,000 mile 2001 firebird with an LS1 for 10,000. great price for a low mileage LS1.

Here is a 50,000 mile 2002 z28 for under 10,000

Here is a 2002 z28 with 83k for 8,000

You can find better, these cars are easily f'd up by hitting curbs, I learned the hard way.

what if I took it to the DMV and had them inspect it for the structural integrity of the car and then take it to a shop to check the brakes, bushings etc..

I'd look for something else. Buying a shitbox straight off the bat will be something you'll regret.

If you were in LA, you would definitely find something in much better condition and low miles for less than that. 4500-6000.
