Took about 2 hours or so, I was going slow and working with a flashlight lol. Install is easy, wired the the cutout to one of the 12v ports in the console. Opened up fully it sounds like a fucking race car lol. I had some kids driving one of those new VW turbo cars compliment me and they said it scared the shit out of them when I flew past them.
Here are some pics so you can see the differences between stock and the holgan.
This is the factory one, notice the reduction.

Hogan, notice no reduction and smooth.

Side by side, notice the huge cat, this also weighs about 15lbs or so less than the factory one.

I need to recheck the wiring tomorrow and make sure the bolts are all tight. I highly recommend it and you do feel a difference in power with the cutout open.

do the catted dps throw a code?

No, no codes. This is a "high flow" cat, but I guess it is catless?

A lot of people with the catted DP get a p0420 code. I used an 02 spacer/extender and it prolonged the light for about 1000 miles or so.

what size are the bolts that attach the dp to the manifold and cat to the rest of the exhaust?
Just want to make sure I have things in order.
Thanks

Catless would mean no cat at all. A high flow cat is still a cat. I have no experience with these cars, but with others with high flow cats a spacer helps keep the readings at the rear 02 sensor down so it won't throw a code.

15MM, you'll need a deep socket with a 12inch extension. They are on tight so either use a lot of man power or maybe go to a shop if you can't loosen it and ask if they can break them loose for you. I didn't spray mine with any oil because I live in a rust free zone, FL, but you might want to spray it with some penetration oil.

Also you'll need either an O2 socket or a 22mm wrench to get the O2 out. I left the O2 in until the pipe was removed and then used a wrench to take the O2 out.

Do you have the link to that thread?

Also, do not use a 12 point socket for the 15mm bolts, be sure to use a 6 point to advoid rounding the bolts.

Just made this vid. At the start of the vid the cutout is closed, then you can hear it open.
