hard water stains on glass? can anyone give me suggestions on how to get rid of hard water stain spots on my windows and t tops,they have been there since i bought the car, the previous owner lived near salt water, i've tried zep glass cleaner,stony's,windex,even rubbing compound, i'm out of ideas, can anyone give me some suggestions to try,thanks

ok, here is the quickest EASIEST way, go get some powdered "bar keepers friend" if im correct it is around $2.50 at any grocery store. take either a microfiber towel, or a clean sponge, and put some powder on towel/sponge. then make a paste by adding water, rub on the glass in a soft circular motion. rinse, repeat if necessary.
i stongly advise puting a good coat of wax, on the glass after your finished. to prevent any futher spotting in the future

Steel wool #0000 (make sure you use that or it'll scratch) but i did it, takes a little time but looks PERFECT!!!! when you are done, put on some good music, grab a cooler, a comfy chair, call it a day!
