What skinnies smaller than 26" DOT
I need a shorter tire for my Camaro. I need to launch at a lower RPM, but need less rollout to get the RT I want.
I think it has 26" tires right now. I need it to be DOT for DOT classes I race sometimes.
Is there maybe a 25"? BTW they are weld 15" skinnies.

I thought mine were 26" but I can't find the diameter
This is all the info I have on my current tires:
165r15 86t
widetrack
metric
Is this a 165 80 r15? I think that makes it a 26" if so, but not sure. They look like 26s

Yeah, anything smaller then a 26 does look funny to me as well... I'd adjust something on the car to get the r/t you want with the 26 inch tire to be honest. ( I take it you have an issue with your r/t, being slow?)
I was actually thinking about going to a 27.5 et drag, which is why I bought the front spindles with an inch of drop built in... so that way I can "cheat" and get a rolling start.
I find with the 26 inch tire at a 600 rwhp level in my car even on a protree I have to be somewhat careful not to red light... I figure when the new setup's done with double the power the car's going to react a good bit quicker, and I'm gonna be red lighting if I don't put the bigger tires on as well. Plus, it's a tiny bit of ET gain as well, and that never hurts

i ACCIDENTLY bought the 24.5" sportsman s/r radials for my car.Didnt realize they were that short until they were mounted and put on the car. They do look goofy as hell.If the car was lowered it might not look THAT bad, but it would probly scrape every were
moral or the story: Double check your invoice before you complete a transaction and doubly check the tires before you mount them. Now im stuck with these until they wear out.Which will be a while since i barely drive it.
