Default Strange vibration.

Well, not that strange. But when I sit at idle the whole car shakes. My tuner put the idle up to 900 and it runs fine. But its like its missing or something. Not sure what it could be. I've replaced plugs with AC Delco Iridiums, MSD plug wires, and I'm assuming all coils are ok. Not too sure on the last one. When I rev it up to 1300 it smooths out but I can still feel it missing occassionally. Any help would be great cause this is driving me insane. It was doing this before the cam swap also. So, I don't think that is the problem. My tuner said I needed new motor mounts, but I still think It should be running smoother. Thanks!!!

Is it throwing a P030XX code or something like that?

Is the car throwing a code? I know even my stock 98 will move the car a little bit at idle....

I'd be willing to bet its your motor mounts if theyre still the factory ones. If they were semi bad before you put a cam in then you just made them worse by shakin things up.

Not throwing any codes. It runs fine but feels almost like it runs fine then it just forgets to fire one of the spark plugs. It keeps doing that. Like its missing. I can't really put my finger on it or describe it.

and then the car idles up, it goes away, then it slowly idles back down and does it again?

Not on its own. I Can hold the gas a little and it smooths out some. But I still feel it kinda dropping every once in a while.

Yeah, I'm still having the same problem myself. I don't know what to replace. I'm not getting any misfire codes. Do coils slowly go out? Or is it either there or not?

I think we'll try changing those when I change the auto to a manual next month.
