Default Raptor Shift Light question

I have the one with the Launch mode and what im not understanding is it says connect the green wire to the tach output lead of the vehicle or the switched side of the ignition coil, the negative side. Not exactly sure what that means??? anybody whos used this shift light please chime in.

Look for the tach lead on the ECM. I T'd mine into that.

Pin 10, White wire, IIRC.. Or the negative lead of Coil #1, but I just used the ECU Tach lead. and the light has to be in 4Cyl mode to work properly.
