Default Window help

2000 trans am auto
ok so i took off my passenger door panal. and left in the car and tried to roll the passenger window down it did not work so i tried the driver side it went down like 2 inch and just stopped i turned off the car and turned it on and rolled it up went home reconnected the stuff and now my window rolls up and down with like 3 bumps in it

Sounds like the window motor is on its way out. Search, there are a gazillion posts on this.

Probably motor. Especially if original. My original just went out. Replaced it with a dorman, which is what most on here will recommend. Good motor and easy install.

Send me the bad one and I'll fix it for you. I have been looking for a bad one so I can do a write up on the repair. Shipping to me is cheaper than buying a new one, then use the write-up to fix the other one.
