Vengeance Racing is proud to bring you the strongest T56 available!!! Built by RPM Transmissions this Magnum T56 includes the following:
  • 26 spline input
  • 31 spline output
  • Bronze fork pads
  • Bronze shifter bushing
  • Fully Micropolished
  • Custom machining of internal components to fit the F-body tail
  • Modification of Tail housing to fit the magnum
This transmission is a DIRECT bolt in for your 4th Generation F Body AND Pontiac GTOs!! To be converted, the transmission has to be disassembled completely to modify the mainshaft, clutster shaft, and other parts, as well as the tailhousing being modified to fit the larger shaft and one piece cluster. The shifter rail is a custom built piece as well to fit the magnum transmission with the F-body tailhousing. We also install a custom reluctor ring for the F-body

so this is a magnum. you just put a stock t56 tail housing on it?

how much for the rear housing part?

or can i send you a rear tail shaft part and have you modify it to fit my magnum?

Good looking unit but thats got to run about $3500 to build it like that. A new Magnum is $2800 by iteself.

There are modifications required to the transmission itself that would not allow us to sell you just the tail housing.

That being said you can send your transmission in for complete modification. We are working on pricing for this option as well.

well figure up a price for me.

i have the t56 tail housing and the magnum ready to go out the do.

can i ask is it just making the rear housing biger to take the 31 spline set up. kind of like what guys do in the viper conversions?

I would imagine its more than just boring out the tailhousing for the larger bushing and seal. I would "think" the shift rail is different, the shift selector in the back is different, the rear cluster bearing is different and the VSS needs to be addressed. I have not been into a Magnum yet so its just a guess at this point. The bronze fork pads and shift cup are from a T56.

It's the Tremec TR-6060 - from what I've gathered, it is the replacement for the T-56, and is a little beefier.
