My front suspension creaks/groans when going over speed bumps at an angle... specifically as the tire rises. I took the front wheels off this past weekend and didn't see anything obviously cracked or broken in the wheel wells or on the sway bar mounts. Any ideas?

My guess is shocks. Stock DeCarbons don't last very long. Could also be sway bar end links/bushings creaking.

Start with the easy stuff first. Check your swaybar bushings and make sure they're lubed. If not lube and/or replace them. Those are usually the first things that start making noise in the front suspension. Good luck...

I've only had stock shocks on this car for it's first ~700 miles (and it had ~60 miles when I took possession of it). It's got Koni double adjustables which have seen probably nearly 200K miles between the last two cars. Not sure when they go bad...

I'll start with whipping out the KY for the front suspension
