car is a hugger orange 99 Z28. they only made 134 convertibles in hugger orange and 61 of those were SS models. the other 73 were either v6 or Z28's. so there werent many of these made. it has 118k on the body.
engine is a newer shortblock with only 50k on it. heads and cam were just done and have less than 100 miles on them. heads are just hand ported and cleaned up but are nice.
cam is a comp cams 54-416-11. specs are .530/.534 220/224 on a 112 lsa.
also has a jp performance timing chain and gears
hardened pushrods
ARP head bolts
Flowtech longtubes and Flowmaster mufflers right off the collectors.
new th400 with a manual valve body. no trans brake.
3400 stall not sure what brand
Hurst Quarterstick shifter
BMR trans crossmember with torque arm relocation.

car runs good but could use a tune. also interior would look better with a center console. tear on driver seat and has a spot on front bumper cover where clear is pealing.
overall fast, good car and cleans up nice.

Just curious, where did you get the info on how many Hugger convertibles were made? I've been doing research myself, but haven't found that.

i found a link somewhere on camaroz28.com that said there were a total of 134 hugger orange convertibles. 61 of those were SS models. so there are 73 left that are either v6 or Z28. i havent found anywhere to break it down any further although i havent looked too much. the guy i bought the car from said it was 1 of 29.

still has the stock 10 bolt. runs and drives decent but could use a tune. i do not have the center console. i have been looking for one local but havent found anything.
