Default 98 ls1 pcm question

Just wondering, will a 98 ls1 pcm out of an automatic car work on a manual car if it is re tuned for it or are the plugs different?

Ok so would a auto pcm on a manual car start and run or would it need a complete different reflash before starting?

yes it will start fine, might not even need a reflash going into a manual car. if you were doing the inverse and putting a manual pcm into a auto car, and still using an eletronically shifted OD tranny, then those tables would need to be populated to control that. the speedo may need to be recalibrated and you could populate the stall protect table and a couple little things here and there. but it will start and run fine with the auto pcm no problem
