Got my carpet install finished up just now, and that's to the point of not even cleaning everything up yet

Anyway, here's some pics since I haven't seen it done before.







The seats and sub box are going to go missing in the near future in favor of something different that matches. Also doing black leather and red suede Firebird door panels.

My camera sucks but the carpet actually compliments the body color nicely.

Eh definitely different! Looks descent, and props for being unique, but I'll stick with neutral colored carpet. I hate that plastic foot guard on the drivers side though I'm sure it won't show with floor mats. What are you going to do for mats?

get some black seats and it should look a lot better! definitely different. with the current seats, its just not working though.

I'm planning on getting some black leather seats like 6LE has and doing the inserts in red suede and upholstering the rears to match. I agree that it doesn't work with the stock seats at all; I hate the stockers anyway.

Yeesh I dunno about that, Bro. Definitely different, and not a far cry from OEM flavor... just not my cup of tea... I may change my tune later with the seats though, I am a fan of some red interiors.

sorry to say, but I'm not a fan of your color choice. It just doesn't match w/ the exterior paint color, but I doubt you'll get much **** for that.

OP - maybe with the seats it'll look better and congrats on the new carpet if you like it then , it's just that no one is used to it and really likes it, but who gives a **** if everyone like the same thing all of our cars would look alike... oh wait they do, ummm well you know what i mean... lol

I think dropping the Fbomb is pretty much offensive in anyones book. Saying "no offense" doesn't mean its ok to say anything.

that would look alright with any other color, but with a red car, why didnt you get carpet that matched the paint better?

I've gotta say right now I don't think it looks good at all, BUT, I think once you get the seats changed it will look a whole ton better. I give you props for doing something different! You don't see that often enough with these cars!

it looks decent with the way it is now. get you some black seats and some black floor mats with red accents and it will look way better
