Question Spring seats and Bilsteins...

I have the SLP Bilsteins ready to install but the Moog spring seats (K80927) are not fitting over the front strut. I bought everything new for my swap: springs, shocks, strut mounts, spring seats, isolators, insolators, and STB. Should I just reuse the stock spring seats that are on the deCarbons? I need suggestions so I can get my suspension finished...

Thanks.

Put the shocks somewhere cold and let them cool for a day. Get the perches nice and warm. Not hot enough to burn the paint off, but get them nice and warm (over 150.) The shocks being cold and the perches being hot they will slide on nicely. That is what I did.

Do the Bilsteins have metal cap tapped down over top of the shock body?

Most of the extra parts came from Rock Auto.

I put my front shocks in the freezer for a short time and the spring seats/perches in the oven on 175*. They went on a little easier, but I had to lube up the shock body and use a block of wood and a hammer to get them on all the way. One way or another, it's taken care of. Thanks for the advice!
