Suspension question....
...Ok I have an 2005 V, and am looking to do some suspension work to it. Basically the car is my DD, but I want to tighten up the suspension more for some turns. So I am trying to figure out what would be best for what I want to do, I want to keep the ride of the suspension close to where it is now, just looking for a slight drop, and overall better handling. I may have to do springs and struts, not sure yet, cause I haven't looked, but the rear makes a clunk when I hit a bump back there, not sure if it's the top hat bouncing where it connects back there, or if they are bad.
So what are your thoughts, for just springs? or struts and springs? which sway bars would you recommend if any?
sorry fairly new to GM's just came from an STI, and it was easier to find info on that lol
thanks

QA1 single adjustable shocks and ground control coilover system on my DD ctsv. I love the setup. Can adjust the shocks, adjust the ride height, and wen u order the springs u can pick how stiff you want them. And pricing isn't that bad on the stuff

I'd go with Ground Control with 600F/650R springs along with the stock shocks if they are still good. Adjust the GC down 1" all around and get Hotchkis sway bars and Z06 end links. Total is $900 for GC, Hotchkis & links. This will be a huge improvement in looks and handling. I ran the stock FE4 shocks with GC lowered 1" at road courses for about a year and this was more than adequate. I then upgraded to QA1's.
