Default Titanium C5 Z06 Type Exhaust On FBODY?

Weird i know

However anyone who has heard a stock c5 zo6 titanium exhaust knows how nice they sound i was wondering if there was a way to fit one onto an fbody.

Anyone ever try this or have any ideas?

would you mind having two exhaust tips in the middle right underneath your bumper? I'm sure the muffler could just be cut and welded into a catback

if u had 2.5" duals then yes. but whats the point? u r hacking up a thing of beauty to put it on a car that it doesn't belong on. if u want a z06 Ti exhaust...go buy a z06.

I dont think it would be worth the effort. You'll end up spending as much on customizing it and hacking it up as you would on a good catback

What I wish there was was a light weight, free flowing, quiet muffler. My Bassani is a beautiful thing but I think at best, it's only free flowing.

And in other news, men want attractive women that don't complain and have no baggage.

Free flowing and light does exist!! SLP loudmouth. Certainly not very quiet.

I think its a very interesting concept. The C5 Z06s I have heard with LTs running through the Ti exhaust sound amazing. While you will be spending a pretty penny to have it all fabbed up, I don't think its as crazy as others think.

Newb to this forum....

As a Z06 guy that sounds like a huge waste of time and energy.

Have you really looked at the Z06 Titanium system?
The pipes are tiny and the tips are not even real tips!! Yeah its lightweight and has a decent tone but I would move on...Im running the magnaflow wide open tru x pipe stock manifolds.

A stock exhaust is a stock exhaust bro. Fitting it would be a bitch though, the undercarrage of a vette isnt the same as a fbody. Lightweight is nice, but no where near the effort to install it on a f-body.

The Ti exhaust from the Z06 is lightweight, free-flowing, and quiet. So yes you can have all 3! I'm running LT's to an ORX and through my stock Ti mufflers and while it's not that loud at idle or low rpms it does sound good at WOT. I could go spend $700+ on a catback but the only thing I would be gaining is sound, better looking tips, and MAYBE a couple HP. The pipes are 2.5" if I remember right but that's plenty big for most setups when you're talking about true duals. I do think it would be a lot of work though considering that not everyone even knows how to weld titanium. Most setups are selling for around $400 used and is a popular swap for the C5 coupes.
