I know fo a few that would show almost for certain, especially at that location. I think you had better define what you mean by "LS1" first :D

Why only F-body's and there must be some sort of rules tube chassies allowed :confused: Any thing goes???

OK,Guys LS1 means with GM part number.F-Body means REAL CARS with Titles.I already have a tube car.LS1 any power adder.A lot of Shops talk lets just do it!Be FUN I'll have two cars two enter myself.I will say it will be fun.

That's still not very specific. What about a titled 2800 lb 68 Camaro with a full race setup chassis that still has current plates? Drop an LS1/6 C5R with a big power adder in it and it will seriously stomp any stock body 4th gen out there.

So it is a production vehicle issued a VIN by the factory? If so, then you should be fine. Ronnie is looking for LS1, C5R, and LSx platform, running in a factory manufactured vehicle (e.g., f-body, Corvette, etc.).

I received an email from Ronnie (1badls1) regarding the race. This is for real cars, not tubular cars and the like. This is a call-out! If you think you have what it takes to run with the big dawgs, put down your $500 and show up :cheers:

Ronnie, how about we add this event to one of our LS1TECH series events this year? We are planning on Bowling Green mid-year, and the Thunder Shootout in November, both are great gathering spots.

If there are going to be fast as f*&$! LS1s racing, we might as well have the entire LS1 community there in attendance.

We could even call the class the 1 BAD LS1 challenge :D

damn this sounds exciting! and no i dont think it is shop cars only. who is this 8sec30th? i didnt know there were so many fast 4th gens here! i also think it would be a great idea to run this event at an ls1tech shootout. it would really bring a level of excitment we havent seen. just like the ford boys do at their WFC and Spring break nationals.

What about C5 vettes?

You would have to hold this race at one of the LS1 tech racing series events. If you don't, your total entrants probably won't even fill up one row in the staging lanes. Come on, face it, theres not enough 8-9 second LS1's out there, and to have them all running at the same time in the same spot? Best of luck to you. I would love to see this happen but I think it may need to become PART of the LS1 tech series. You could try to make it so that to win the final "big" payout at the last race of the season, you would have had to attend all the previous races, or work out some kind of percentage so that more people would attend the same races.
