Can you take off the rev limiter without a handheld tuner?

Love it going to remove rev limiter and get rid of the DOD where its always in V8 mode

I didn't use a tuner to remove the limiter... I kinda just... disconnected the TCM... Figured it out when my other one when bad. Whenever I do get my car tuned, I'm having it removed.

Also, getting rid of DoD was that best thing ever!

Sounds awesome. I have DOD off too. Way better.... You will loose some MPG, but that's the only negative. All the spark plugs will be claener too. I think it's worth it.

what is ur exhaust set up i want that sound sooo bad , i dont need a cut out, but that vid from the back with the cut out closed is starting to turn me on!!!

That was just for the rev, the car won't drive like that. It's also why my T/C light is on. As soon as I find some one who can tune my car, it will be removed and my shift points fixed since I had a new TCM put in a couple of weeks ago.

If you don't have a tune how did you get away with removing your cat? I may have to get a cutout now after hearing that!!!

I just deal with the CE light.
