Gen 5 Camaro Racing Tech, Results - RACED A 2010 SS with paper tags on her !

Buddy of mine bought a 2010 SS camaro and we had to line them up to see how she runs Bone Stock!. It still has the paper tags on it!!!I have a 02 LE SS with bolt ons, SLP Lid, Bellows,MSD , Hooker 1 3/4 ceramic coated headers with the 3 inch TSP catted y-pipe with 3 inch I-pipe to Hooker aerochamber with 2.5 inch dual outlets to the CME. My car is dynotuned with a Harris Speed Works wet plate system spraying 100 HP right now. My car made 341.6 HP at the tires on the dyno. Bone stock it did 316.9 HP. We never sprayed it on the Dyno.
He had a passenger also and I was alone. We go from a dead stop and I don't have my drag radials on ,,He has traction control and I get out about half a car then start spinning,,,he doesnt spin at all and puts about 2.5 cars on me while I'm tryin to hook it up. That takes a while and I get her cooking and Im staying there maybe barely pullin back to him but hes out there 2.5 to 3 cars. Im not going to catch him on motor so I have to spray it and go blowing by him on the gas. I was impressed with his car,,,It ran alot better than I thought she would being that heavy and with 2 people in it. It would have been different if I had my tires on it but the 2010 SS Camaros run pretty good like she sits. He said hes gonna put exhaust and turbo it soon...so I may be in trouble. Convertor and cam in my future......YES

My 2010 SS has about 100hp over my 2002 SS but i cant drive a M6 for shit but if i could they would be about even only because of the weight difference and both cars have the same bolt-ons.

good race, they can handle their own in stock form. I wish I came across more 2010's her in North Houston spring area. All the ones I see nobody wants to race.

Me too I think it has alot to do with how loud me car is?:confused: I did race a red Z06 on Spring Stuebner and put 3 car lenghts on him. Then he wanted to go again so I turned on the bottle off of a 30 roll he down shifted and I stayed in 4th gear so i would not have to shift. I could see him fighting the shifter in the rear view mirror it was so funny. Then he pulled up to me and asked what in the hell do you have in the thing. I said just the old LS1. LOL

Ya your car makes the same power as mine on motor. I usually go out to the Nifty Fiftys car show on Saturday nights. Then cruse Spring Stuebner / Spring Cypress and 45 North looking for some action.

Yes but on Spring Cypress in the Kroger parking lot over 100 cars there on Saturday Nights best car show I have been to.

I will be at the Kemah Camaro car show Sunday so i will be down south this weekend at our bay house with the family. Next weekend meet me at the Nifty Fiftys car show around 7:00 PM. WE will do some roll on races considering we both have the stock 10 bolt.:bang: Shoot me a PM and i will give you my number.
