loud knock!!!! ok since i replaced the flex plate in my z28 it has devloped a knock in the middle to rear under wot from a stop but only dose it for a sec.. i think its the torque arm but not sure the rear also feels lose (side to side) at speed but all the bolts are tight and the torque arm bushing is in good shape..
it has a panhard bar and lower links and lowering springs

It is very possible it is your torque arm but double check your torque converter bolts too. Ive had mine loosen up and I thought it was my motor knocking . But that was at an idle .
