Default The pads on the front of the SS hood

Anybody know a part number for the pads on the front of the SS hood? One of ours is missing on the 35th LE, and I'd like to replace both. The adhesive is weak on the one still remaining.

Do not know if there ever was an "offical" part number for those . . . It looks like a length of compressible weather stripping.

Kinda like this:

From my memory, that's EXACTLY what it is. Where can I get that? What sort of adhesive would I use to attach these? Again, from memory, the adhesive seemed a little yellow and not too good. Black RTV Silicone a better idea...?

I went and measured it. It's exactly 1 7/8" long and between 3/8" and 1/2" wide. Where can I get this? A general auto parts store like O'Reillys, NAPA, or Autozone?

I contacted David Hamburger from SLP and he told me that these pieces were supplied to them by GM, and they installed them. They had 3M adhesive on the back.

I'd like to keep the car correct; need to figure out how to get these pieces...
