im stuck, 1st gen vs. 4th gen z28 badges??
ok, so ive been wanting to get into the appearance mdos for my car during the summer, and leave the internals for winter while the car is in the garage. as it its, just a stock nbm z28. looking around emblempros and found cant decide between these:
http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/414
http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/1277<---i wouldnt be getting the "camaro 5.7 ls1", id just leave 'em blank
im am for sure getting the stainless inserts for the rear, and might be doing the berger panel too. if i do the berger & the 1st gens, i would delete the rear z28 badges. i do like the refreshed 4th gens though, as they stand out very well on my color. id also like to go with a black grille on the front with a 1st gen badge, but i dont know how mixing them would look.
sorry for all the randomness, i just have a lot of ideas anyone with pics could really help me decide. any other advice is very welcome.

thanks guys! keep the input coming! ill be spending a lot of time in this section over the next few months. i dont wanna buy everything until i am sure, but i do have my debit card sitting right next to me
i have a personal hatred for TT2s, c5z06s, and c4zr1s. they look nice, but EVERYONE has them, so here is what i plan to go with:
http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...roducts_id=126(or maybe chrome)
front 18x8.5 245/40
rear 19x12 325/30<---i might go bigger, like 335 or 345 (yes i know a mini tub might be in order)
those will be waiting until fall/winter though.

1st gen for sure!!!!
ill let you in on a lil secret... i also feel the same about wheels, but i dont hate all those wheels just i agree everyone has them... so i plan on getting the 17X11 deep dish in the back and 17x9 c5 machined black from oe wheels when they come out with them late summer... in my case im keeping the machine finish look on my car but able to get some fatties in the rear... thats just me though...

I guess it depends on what else you have on the car. For example, if someone was going for a more "old school" look with Torq-Thurst (or similar) wheels and a black billet grille, then the 1st gen emblems are definitely what they would want. If you're going with C6 wheels or something a little less "vintage" I'd go with the 4th gen emblems.

This is actually my car in the picture with this style badge.
I've had them on for about three years and still really like the look of them.
