Ok, I'm looking for a little help here. I keep getting the code above and I don't seem to be getting as good of gas mileage as I think I should. I've erased the code multiple times and it seems anytime I drive the car over a 10 min period of time the code will resurface. I've got new O2 sensors that I picked up for my swap a few months ago, the swap has only been running for a little over 2 months and the code has been an issue the entire time. Now, I only have the 2 front O2 sensors so should this be the driverside or passenger side. Also, I had to hardwire these sensors in, so could that be giving me this problem or would it cause both sensor to show errors?
Right now I'm getting about 17 mpg in the city with my swap and I drove my entire last tank without shifting over 3000 RPMs. From time to time the exhaust does seem to smell a little rich, but wouldn't I be throwing a code for that too?

Yeah, I deleted the cats and removed the rear O2's. Crap. My rear O2 sensors were suppose to be tuned out. Does this mean that some how, when I pinned the harness that I connected the wires to the wrong pins or am I having a tunning issue. Also, why wouldn't the other rear O2 sensor throw a code too?

Can someone shed some more light on this for me?

It sounds like they weren't tuned out correctly. But if you have a handheld or software that can monitor the primaries I would do that just to make sure it looks like they are working correctly (that should tell you if you wired them correctly). You could also try pluggin in a rear o2 sim to see if it makes the problem go away.
