My car isn't going to see the track much this year, I'm going to need a clutch first. But hopefully I'll get there in a few weeks for a pass of two.

Did NED do away with the index classes that they used to run? I was looking on teh website and don't see any mention of any of that now..

If they did away with that it's a shame becuase there goes another decent pro tree class.

Slow tree bracket racing is boring... makes that place basicially another LVD, with no heads up type racing at all.

As a general statement, these tracks need to come up with some heads up racing classes, and now. Everyone I know, wants nothing to do with bracket racing anymore, they all want heads up classes... they're all running in the bracket classes with cars going 1/2 what they're potential is because that's all they have.

lol, next time I'm just calling you first. Between your sheet metal number and the roof top number I probably could have fit in a set of LSx heads for your car and still come up on top. Could have used that one too

I might go Wed next week. IDK if I'm gonna bring the TA tho, the rear end is kinda sketchy and would really hate to blow it up 140+ miles away.

So might be running 16's in my T-bird yeaaaaa.

Good to hear Krazy.

I do like a couple of the rules LOL. You're supposed to have a stock radiator support, but they allow a back 1/2'd car... that makes well... NO sense.

No lexan either... hope noone ever taps on my glass Way it will be glued in you'd never know, but then again when the cowl's all cut out and dogboxed in under the hood, I guess that's gonna give it away. Someone probably won't like the headlight covers attached to the nose structure either, foglights and all the running lights work though.

I'll try to make it up and give the 8.50 a run once I get things together, I suspect that after my first trip, they may not want me to come back.... if those rules are actually strictly followed. (car will have an nhra cert too, I'm sure they won't like that either)

I wouldn't stress too much on those rules. I don't see them giving you a hard time about the NHRA cert either.

I think NED tech is pretty laid back, i never have issues

I've never had a problem to be honest, I always make sure my junk's up to date, I usually hand the tech guy a printed list of every required part, with the # and the EXP date on it. Generally... noone ever even questions anything once they see that. They look at the car, but that's about it.

Island Dragway asked about my "new jersey nitrous permit"... I was like my what? They were beign a stickler about that, but I had never even heard of such a thing.

Just one more reason to get away from that **** at this point. Nitrous makes good power no questioning that... just too many hassles with it.
