Default LS1 Sand Rail from Washington State

Hey all

Found this site while looking for more power for my new to me LSI motor.

First off, I am a trucker by choice and currently haul rebar.

We camp, ride, boat, and I am into off road hill climbs, although mostly dune stuff lately.
Wife ride a NOS enhanced yfz450, I got my 370cc atc250R (had it since Jan 1987), a mini rail with a GS1395 and NOS.
We like trucks and bikes and these are my commuter vehicles:

But all that is not why we are here. I am finishing up my build of my version of an old school sand rail with a modern twist. And so far has proven to be very reliable

Specs are:
Vette 2000 LS1
2 sp Powerglide
Ford 9" rear axle, 5:30 gears / spool
Drag paddles

Motor is stock with power module

Car is:
13' long
4'10" tall
7/ 8" wide Front & Rear
14" long travel, soon to be upgraded to 20" travel in rear, 16" in front
Weight is currently unknown.

Used the rail for a year to make sure all was ok and tore down for Powdercoat, and will re assemble in 2 weeks. Safety vest orange is the color. Body panels are being airbrushed.

Any other Duners here?

And yeah, it is fast.

I may even take it to a track with some street rubber to see how it does.
Dyno numbers are useless, all that really counts is what happens between the lights.

Anyhow, I got a lot of reading and searching this site.

See Ya

Found some rear tires / wheels to run on the street, yet still looking for some front treat..

I have been reading threads on this site and there is a lot of interesting items. Was hoping to find a thread where an Airtek e8248 could be found at a reasonable price along with a screen replacement kit for the Professional Products 10214
This pic is from few weeks ago and need to get a current pic.

Thanks for all the great info on the site.
