Default where is this noise coming from?

after i take a sharp turn i hear a whine come from the the front of the car. then it fades away after like 5 min of driving

Power Steering Pump? When they are low on fluid, and/or starting to go bad, it'll usually make whining noises like that after a hard turn.

Definitely check the power steering pump. If it's making noise for 5mins after turning, sounds like it could be extremely low on fluid.

I'd consider this thread closed. Does it make a noise when you cut the wheel all the way when you arent moving?

sorry bout the late response. thanks ill check my steering fluid, and no it doesn't make noise when i cut the wheel all the way
