Default Drag Radial Question For Stock Rims

I did some searching on this and found some old threads but want to see what people think now with some of the newer tires.

My car is about to get a 3500 stall has 2.73 gears, will also be getting headers, has a magnaflow cat back, LCA's and brackets, and the SLP lid.

What I would like to do is get a set of DR's to mount up on stock size rims to help get the power to the ground.

My question to the those with experience is, what sort of DR would you mount to stock size rims. I would like to try and keep the rear end safe as well so I don't know if that will make a huge difference or not.

Post your ideas and information and hopefully this thread turns into something others can use in the future!

We ran MT 275's on stock WS6 wheels. I cant remember the exact size, but they were the same as what was on there. They hooked great!

I'd also say 255/60/16 if you are using the stock 16 x 8 rims.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of each brand for this sort of application?

I third that. For quite some time I ran that exact setup and it was more than enough tire for me when I was cam-only with a 3600 stall and 3.73's.

Those are the 28" tall M&H's, they work great! Probably too much tire for his combo and 2.73 gears.
