Will an Ls7 hold up

Will an Ls7 hold up I am upgrading to more cubes with probably about 530 to the rear wheels. I have an LS7 clutch in the car right now it has about 10,000 miles on it and is working fine. Do you think it will hold up or should I replace when I swap motors?

It all depends on how you drive. If you drive it like a weekend cruiser, with a few spirited runs here and there, it will be fine.
If you drive it like you stole it, including launching it, then the life of the clutch will probably be short lived. Its an organic clutch, its designed for performance, but not abuse.

Talking about LS7 clutches, I'm thinking about replacing my Spec 2+ for a LS7 in my first generation LS1 with about 380rwhp. Can anyone tell me if it's a direct fit? I'm also swapping the flywheel for a light wheigt alum, does it need to be LS7 specific. I read somewhere that it did need to be specific but it was a while ago and I'm not sure about it. Please advise.
