Default upgrading to ls6 intake

will i be able to pass emissions sniff test after removing and deleting egr, car is 1998

You probably want to get your tune adjusted though. The LS6 intake is much more efficient up top. The 98s have a lot of timing at WOT from the factory; much more than your engine needs after an intake swap to an ls6.

As long as you do not have a strict Visual Inspection Process. I see no Issues. If stock, your fine. Tuning should def be done as it will make the car better.
