Default Braking issues when brakes are wet.

Anyone else having reduced braking when its raining or after a car wash? I seriously have to slam on the brake pedal just to stop.

After a car wash or when the brakes are cold in the rain my first 2-3 stops are a little soft but nothing I would call out of the ordinary for performance brakes

So its normal for these brakes? Cause that has never happened to me on my other cars.

Yeahh, that should be normal, you probably didn't break them in good, when you changed them, go down the road and get down on those puppies a few times lol

I never changed them, I bought the car with them on it. I already put 4000 miles on the car.

Yea it usually is but you never know, **** happens. Brakes still have alot of life left in them on all four wheels.

It's water. The enemy of friction. Every car will have longer stops if driving in the rain and not using the brakes for a prolonged period of time. More aggressive pads also need a higher temp to operate efficiently, so it's more noticeable in the V. But it happens on all cars...
