Hoping to get a group purchase for the complete kit, cam, psuhrods, timing chain, ported oil pump, gaskets and bolts etc. I personally want the 228R, anyone else interested in purchasing the whole setup? TSP wanna chime in with some pricing?

Let me run some numbers to see what we can do for everyone. I'd expect a GP minimum of at least 10 committed buyers. I'll have one of the guys post up some info this afternoon. :)
Thanks!

I might be interested as well. Do they have sound clips for their cam choices so we can hear what they sound like and which cams are best for torque gains?
I guess I can check out their website later today.

itsslow98,
Why have you decided on the 228R over the others? I'm just curious, I know absolutely nothing about cams, so I just want to get a feel for how everybody else chooses these puppies.

Mid sized cam, not to big not to small, makes good power all around, not the highest lift cam because I want useable power for a daily driver.
Also helps that when I called TSP and told them what I wanted and how I was using it that thats what they suggested, they are very knowledgeable and I wouldnt doubt them based on the tons of research ive done.
If anyone wants to hear the cams just go to youtube and type it in, for the newbs the LSA is the main thing that makes the cam choppy, 112 being what I prefer for a daily thats manageable and has sound to it. If you want a stock sounding cam go with a 114 or even 115 LSA.

I'd be interested in a 224/230 on XFI lobes with a 113+2 LSA. I was going to wait until after I get coilovers but if the price is right I might buy now. I had the 233/239 on a 112 in my SS and loved it.

No it is not. The overlap is what determines the "chop".
A 212/212 on a 112 will be very smooth, while a 240/258 on a 115 will sound like it is trying to eat your children.
Sorry for the hijack.
