So a buddy of mine owns a 1982 z28 with a 305 4 barrel carb.
Im helping him out by searching for some Headers.
Heddman, or Flowtech is what he would prefer. He wants to do a 2.5 or 3 setup, depending on price so If any of you 3rd gen guys know where to get them, please let me know.
Positive feedback is Greatly Appreciated. :D

I'd go with some Dyno Don headers. Search for them on TGO.

Tell him to go to thirdgen.org and PM 'Dyno Don.' He can fab up race style or smog legal headers, whichever your friend prefers. He has a shop out here in OC.

I have flowtech in mine and its not much of a difference... I picked them up like 3 yrs back at a kragen store or oreilly's what ever they are now.. But they ran me like 100 bucks!

04-08-2010, 08:29 PM
Is that a good price or way too much?
100 bucks is a 100 bucks. but quality, flow, sound, performance, etc.
how are they?

Thank you.

he can then buy a flow master merge and have some one do a y pipe for him.
on my old tpi i spent about 120 on a y pipe.
it beats buying a $600+ kit.. no one cares about smog now a days lol :pimp:

I prefer something local, fast, rather than buying, plus shipping, then waiting etc.

i have a used set of "dons" headers with pipes for a dual cat conversion

the headers are 3/8th's thick flanges, 1 3/4" primaries, 3" ball and socket collectors painted w/VHT.

and the dual pipes are 2 3/4"

PM me an offer

a price referral link
mine are not c coated
