Default 2000 SS, 37k miles, super clean, 520rwhp.

Just curious what my car is worth. It's super clean inside and out. It has a 402 LS2 in it making about 520rwhp with about 2k miles on the new engine. You can see the engine specs in my sig, but no expense was spared in building the engine.

About the only thing left to fortify is the rear-end.

The car is nice for sure but there are turbo cars going for 12k and less. I'd ask 14k-ish and be prepared to sit on it till that one buyer comes around. Hell there is a Procharged SS with 83k miles that isn't selling for 13k..

personally I would pay a premium for a low mileage modded SS but the amount of people out there with the funds to do such is very limited

good luck with the sale!!

The market has kinda been flooded with low mile SS's right now with people who are upgrading to 5th gens, Z06's or just can't afford to keep them anymore. Auto trader and eBay are full of low mile cars right now. I know of a 35TH Ann SS with 36k for $16,500 that hasn't sold. You can also find 01-04 Z06's for under 20k with average to low miles. Buyers market.

I agree though it is a really nice car, but he's going to have to sit on it to find the right buyer.

Thanks guys.

I was kind of hoping that a really nice, built 402 would bump up the price a little beyond 13k, but hey thats cars.

I really like the car though. The only reason I'm wanting to sell it is that I'm in the market for a C6 Z06, and don't have room for two toys.

Maybe I should just buy a bigger garage instead!

Sounds good to me!

But seriously is crazy how the price of these cars have dropped so fast with in the last year.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-...item4aa05155c0

2000 SS 21k miles 6 speed $12,800

For you I'd ask 15k or so and wait for the right person. If not buy that bigger garage.

Your stock rear end is also holding you back. Everyone knows that is a 3-4k expense just waiting to happen, especially with 520RWHP..
