Default What kind of SS emblem for my billet grill?

I just got my billet grill in today and im painting it satin black. Anyway, I want to put an SS emblem in the middle of it like the GMMG cars. Only thing is theres so many emblems that came on different models and different years.

What do most people add in their grill?

should i Go with a '70 Chevelle grill emblem? or a '69 SS camaro grill emblem? or fender emblem???

which fits the best and looks like it belongs?

I have the 6LE grille, and I can say for certain that the SS emblem on his grilles are a nice fit. With any luck, he'll chime in with the year and model of its origin.

Yep. Anyone who says a 69 emblem hasn't tried a 67-68 SS emblem yet lol. These fit PERFECTLY flat against the 'V' shape of the grill. I got mine from eBay for $25 shipped. Good luck.

Is it just me, or do both of your emblems look pretty crooked?

Ill give the 67-68 emblem a shot tomorrow when i go up to johns classic car parts in douglasville.

Ill also compare with the 69 emblem.

The Bronx Bull and rob69zombie both of yalls cars look good!

the emblems actually look about the same

so i tried out a '67-'68 SS emblem, a '70 chevelle emblem, a '69 SS emblem...

but out of them all, I went with a '69 rs/ss emblem. It definatly fit the best hands down. It sits almost perfectly flat against the center V of the grill and looks about the perfect size. Anyone thinking of doing the same mod, I'd give the '69 rs/ss grill emblem a shot
